Earlier this week, I was cleaning up holiday stuff and my body was showing all those tell-tale symptoms of anxiety.
SHAKY. RACING MIND. ALL THE "What Ifs" CIRCLING AROUND.
I decided to listen to my "most-played" songs of 2020 just to remind myself what had "gotten me through it."
One of them reminded me of ONE OF YOU.
In Mid-March, right when the "world was shutting down," I was standing in my kitchen another anxious mess, and ONE OF YOU sent me a Facebook message with a song.
I opened the link and tears streamed down my face as I listened to it. My heart stopped racing and I felt seen and heard and loved right there alone in my kitchen.
It showed me the power of care. It showed me the power of goodness. It showed me the power of a simple act. It showed me the power of kindness. It showed me the power of connection. It showed me the power of blessing. It showed me the power of hope. It showed me the power of music. It showed me the power of Love Himself!
Here I am, on the other side of the craziest year for all of us, and I'm still anxious and this song is still showing me all those same things.
My body and mind have calmed just a little now as I continue to pray for 2021 to be a year filled with BLESSING for me, you and those you love.
You and me, we are STILL in this together!
If you’re on the edge of your seat wondering what song it was, here it is. It is long and will take some time, but you won't regret it for a minute (or 12 to be exact).
From my heart to yours!
